    View An Orders

    Please use the following steps to view your order history:
    • Click on “My Account“.
    • Select the “Order option “from the menu on the left side of the screen.
    • Click an order number to see the complete details of your order.
    If your order contains a gift card, you will have access to a few extra tools.
    Please refer to the gift card section for further details.

    Change Your Password

    Please use the following steps to change your account password:
    • Click on “My Account“.
    • Select “Change password”, from the menu on the left hand side of the screen.
    • Follow the prompts.

    Email Preferences

    Please use the following steps to change your email preferences, or to unsubscribe from receiving promotional emails:
    • Click on “My Account”.
    • Select “Email preferences”, from the menu on the left hand side of the screen. Now you can choose the types of emails to receive.
    (Note – If your selection is to avoid receiving marketing emails from us,
    you will still be entitled to receive transactional emails for your respective orders.)

    How Can I Find Book?

    Our rich inventory allows you to browse for books of your choice by utilizing a new and improved search engine. The search engine is located on the top of every page within our website. The following are the steps to find a welcoming book or books of your choice:
    • Choose your search category (by title), from the drop down menu at the right hand side of the search bar.
    • Enter your keywords.
    We will quickly look through our inventory of more than 6 million used books, and we will inform you about the books we have in stock. In addition to this, you can also use the browse menu which is available from the navigation bar located at the top of your computer screen. All you have to do is to select a major category.
    Then you will be taken to a proper landing page for that particular subject.
    • Use the menu on the left hand side of your screen to select a sub-category.
    • Or use the small search bar at the top of this section in order to customize
    your search to your selected category. It’s time to give our advanced search engine a try. The link is located just below the main search bar.

    Damaged & Incorrect Items

    If you have received a damaged or incorrect item, or if you feel unsatisfied with your order for any reason, please contact us.
    One of our dedicated customer service representatives will work alongside with you to resolve any issues relating to your respective order.
    We do not harbor the necessity of returns, as we give you only the best of what we have.

    Missing Item

    If you have not received your order by the end of the estimated delivery time, check your tracking information for the current status of the package. We always suggest that you check with anyone in your office or household who may have received the package and neglected to tell you. If there is no indication of the current delivery status and you still have not received the package, please contact us and one of our Customer Service Representatives will be happy to assist you.

    How do I add more books to an order I already submitted?

    Unfortunately, there is no way to add more books to an order that has been submitted and paid for.
    However, you can always start a new order. We have no limit to the number of orders you may place.

    What do you do with my email address?

    We do not sell, share, or otherwise distribute your information with any other party. We respect your privacy and store your information in order to communicate with you regarding your order status and occasional upcoming Thrift Books specials.

    My shipping cart was full and now it is empty

    My shipping cart was full, and now it is empty
    • There was no activity in your card for an extended period of time.
    • Your session was timed out.
    Unfortunately items cannot be saved in your cart for long durations of time.
    If you leave your computer for long intervals of time, we assume that your cart is abandoned. According to the following statement, we place the books back on their respective shelves.
    There is no way to recover your cart. You have to search for the titles, and you have to add them to your cart again. As long as you are shopping with a continuous flow, you can take as long as you like to make your selections.
    If no activity is detected in your cart due to the fact that you stopped shopping, we will assume that the cart has been abandoned.
